JOB SUMMARY

The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the enrollment of new participants to the program, including all intake activities. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, obtains initial information relating to admissions, coordinates intake and enrollment process and provides information and referrals to community agencies as appropriate. Promotes the PACE program to potential participants, community agencies and at other outreach venues as needed.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience: 4-year degree from a recognized college or university equivalent combination of experience required. Strong preference for knowledge of community served by Piedmont. Preference for sales experience and demonstrated success in meeting sales benchmarks. Minimum 1 year experience with vulnerable or geriatric population.

 

Type of Employees Supervised: None. 

 

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Must have a valid NC Driver License.

 

Immunizations:  Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS

Requires frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computer.  May require lifting of up to 25 pounds.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.  Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, telephones and copiers.  Requires normal vision.  Work is performed in an office environment. Contact with staff and external clients/vendors.
