ACCOUNTING CLERK
PIEDMONT HEALTH SERVICES
FULL-TIME, BENEFIT-ELIGIBLE

JOB SUMMARY
Primarily responsible for data entry of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries functions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: 0 - 2 years accounting experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Ten-key experience
Reconciliation
Superior data entry skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
MIP Fund Accounting Strong organizational and time management skills.
Microsoft Excel Exceptional attention to detail
Microsoft Word

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computer. May require lifting of up to 25 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, telephones or copiers. Requires normal vision range. Work is performed in an office environment. Contact with staff and external clients/vendors.

IMMUNIZATIONS
Must be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
