MUST SUCCESSFULY COMPLETE MA TRAINING
WILL WORK IN COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS
Patient check-ins including vital signs and documentation. Collects and correctly identifies patient specimens. Performs screenings, EKGs, etc. Cleans exam rooms and maintains room supplies. Provides support and assistance to the staff and providers in the provision of care. Practices within the scope of Piedmont Health Services policies, procedures, and standards.
Calls and assists patient from waiting area to the patient room
Initiates evaluations of patient complaint/concerns or needs, documenting appropriately from assessment
Takes patient vital signs and documents
Demonstrates the ability to accurately provide appropriate care according to the patient's age and diagnoses
Education: High School Graduate.
Current/valid License: None.
Experience: One year of Clinical care required or a combination of experience and MA training
Completion of Medical Terminology and Corporate Module within the first 90 days.
Preferred Qualifications:. Completion of a Medical Assisting Program
