Dental Administrative Coordinator (Dental and School Based)

Floating

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The responsibilites of the Dental Administrative Coordinator includes Assisting the dental leadership team in the following items including but not limited to:

1) Patient time cycles

2) Provider chart audits

3) Training Evaluations/training improvements

4) Assisting the front desk, helping manage equipment issues and needs of each clinic

5) Managing the everyday schedules of the leadership team

6) Making calls and planning for Events and meetings for PHS and dental

7) Supply management in each clinic

8) creating materials for around the clinic for better efficiency

9) Handling clinic conflicts with staff and patients

10) Liaison between WIC, Dental, and Medical in each site to ensure efficiency of the bOHP program

11) Outreach Coordinator for dental events

12) Designing and implementing collaboration with Phoenix Academy for the upcoming school year

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field (such as public health or social work) required
  • Prior experience with integrated delivery system highly desirable.
  • Bilingual a plus.

PATIENT POPULATION SERVED:

  • Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric, Prenatal.  Diverse population of patients.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS:

Extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, pulling and pushing.  Performance of essential duties requires close and

distance vision, hearing acuity, dexterity and stamina.  Must be able to perform heavy lifting, generally more than 25 pounds.  Clinical

environment with exposure to chemicals, pathogens and patient body fluids. Ability to work under stressful conditions.  Ability to

multitask.  Adaptability to change assignments unexpectedly. Must have a personal vehicle for transportation between sites, to patient

homes and to other community networks within our service area.  Participation in training sessions outside of PHS.  Requires moderate

computer skills and use of other office equipment.
