Executive Administrator and Board Liaison

Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff (COS), the Executive Administrator will provide executive support to the PHS Senior Leadership Team in a one-on-one working relationship. The Executive Administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Senior Leadership Team. The Executive Administrator will also serve as the liaison to the board of directors, organize and coordinate executive outreach and external relations efforts, and oversees special projects. The Executive Administrator must be creative and enjoy working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, as well as the ability to maintain realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Executive Administrator will have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.

 

Minimun Qualifications

 

Education:  Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Health Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:  Must have at least three – five years' experience in an administrative support position.

Working Conditions

Requires Frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computer.  May require lifting of up to 25 pounds.  Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.  Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, telephones and copiers.  Requires normal vision.  Work is performed in an office environment.  Some travel to the centers.  Contact with staff, patients and external clients and vendors.
