Lead proposal writing efforts for Federal, State, Local, and Private dollars.  Assist with grant administration processes.  Perform other program development and proposal roles as assigned by the Senior Leadership Team.    Works in collaboration with team members to write grants and support grant and develop other funding proposals.  



Education: BA/BS in public health, health administration, communications or related field required.   Current/valid License: N/A

Experience:  A minimum of one year of grant writing experience required, prior experience in community health or health care setting strongly preferred. Demonstrated experience in obtaining grants from non-profits, state and federal funding sources and other philanthropic organizations.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required.  Experience with sourcing opportunities, contact development, and business relationship management.  Detail oriented, adaptable, organized and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks.  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, and data management software.

Requires frequent sitting for long periods, operation of standard office machines and computers.  May require lifting of up to 25 pounds.

Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.   Requires the use of office equipment, such as computer terminals, telephones or

copiers.  Requires normal vision range.  Contact with all employees and other outside vendors.
